Ingredients
Soaked Fruits: Raisins, Black Currants, Dried Prunes, Candied Mixed Peel, Maraschino Cherries, Fruit Wine, White Overproof Rum, Brandy, Vanilla Extract, Browning, Caramel SS, Lime Juice). Fruit Cake Mix: Sugar: Enriched Wheat Flour Bleached (Niacin Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Breadcrumbs, Baking Powder (Leavening Agent), Approved Spices, Salt, Calcium Propionate (Preservative).
ALLERGEN: CONTAINS WHEAT (MANUFACTURED IN A PLACE THAT PROCESS PEANUTS AND TREE NUTS.)
YOU WILL NEED
3 Eggs and 6oz Melted Butter
BAKING INSTRUCTION
PREP: Preheat oven to 185o C (365 F). Grease sides and bottom of baking pan and flour lightly.
MIX: Mix Pureed Soaked Fruits and Dry Fruit Cake mix in a large bowl with a mixer on low speed until moistened (about 30 seconds). Slowly add melted butter and eggs. Mix on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour batter into prepared pan.
BAKE: Place pan in the center of the oven and bake as directed in chart below or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Cool for 15 minutes before serving. Brush cake with rum or sweet wine and cover to seal in moisture.
