Rich Jamaican flavour in cupcake form. Made with Karley’s Dawta Real Jamaican Fruit Cake Mix, these cupcakes are soft, versatile, and easy to top with rum sauce, chocolate or other flavoured frostings—or enjoy them plain.

Ingredients
- 1 pack Karley’s Dawta Real Jamaican Fruit Cake Mix
- 3 eggs
- 6 oz melted butter or ¾ cup
- 1/4 cup Brandy or rum (for brushing the cake)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Place cupcake liners in a standard muffin tin.
- In medium bowl, prepare Karley’s Dawta Real Jamaican Fruit Cake Mix by following instructions on the packet.
- Pour cake batter into prepared muffin tin. Fill cupcake liner to the top since cupcakes will shrink after cooling.
- Bake for 12 - 15 minutes, until center is set and a toothpick inserted comes out with crumb. Remove cupcakes from oven and pour rum/brandy, cover cake with foil and allow to cool.
- Frost or decorate with your favourite toppings such as rum sauce, cream cheese frosting, buttercream frosting, chocolate or topping of your choice.
- Serve and enjoy, and store cake with a cover to retain moisture.
